Over $20,000 was added to the Cathedral Fundraising total after the 'Journey to India' Night on June  6th 2015.
As well as a feast of Indian food, guests were treated to a feast of colour, sound, light,  and talent, by individual performers,
a trio  and the Natya School of Indian Classical and Bollywood Dance. A donation of $10,000 was made by Dr Rashmi Devassy
and her son Matthew, and other donors included Dr Roy Varghese, De Chandy Koruthu of Centro Dental and Sr Sunil John.
As well as the Bollywood dancing, several Nagle Catholic College students entertained and impressed the crowd.
Anna Narvasa, Kirk Brotherton and  Steve Veliath all sang solos and Saj Ittikura performed  on the Harmonica.
Trish Rogers, Fr Alby and Fr Gerard sang a Malayalam Song written by Benny Joseph.
The MC Peter Fiorenza escorted the crowd on the Journey to India.  Bishop Justin was extremely grateful for the work put in
by the Indian Community in organising such a wonderful event.
